Attorney Allie Shaffer’s Experience:
Allie Shaffer is an Associate at Merson Law, PLLC who earned her B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Jewish Studies from Tulane University in 2021. Allie graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 2024.
During her time at Brooklyn Law School, Ms. Shaffer earned a Public Service Award for dedicating over 100+ hours to non-profit organizations. Ms. Shaffer was a legal intern at Shalom Task Force, a non-profit organization that provides free and confidential legal services to victim-survivors of domestic abuse, specializing in the Jewish community.Â
Prior to law school, Ms. Shaffer worked as a legal intern at the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center where she worked on capital punishment cases in New Orleans, Louisiana. Here, Ms. Shaffer developed a passion for helping clients in their pursuit of justice. Ms. Shaffer began her career at Merson Law as a legal intern in January 2023. Since then, she has been a law clerk, under attorney supervision, conducting legal research and drafting complaints and motions for cases involving sexual assault, medical malpractice, and personal injury. Additionally, Ms. Shaffer has served as the Associate Editor of the Merson Law Review.Â
As an Associate, Ms. Shaffer is committed to supporting her clients in their pursuit of justice and helping them find closure from the traumas they have faced.
