Who is Harvey Weinstein?
Weinstein is a former film producer, and the co-founder of Miramax and The Weinstein Company.
On May 25, 2018, Weinstein was arrested in New York, charged with rape and other offenses, and released on bail.

What Happened to Harvey Weinstein?
In February of 2020, Weinstein was found guilty of rape in the third degree and a criminal sexual act. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison. He is currently serving his sentence at Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, New York
Despite having over 80 accusations of sexual assault by victims, Weinstein was only convicted on the one account. Other victims of Harvey Weinstein have filed lawsuits.
In 2022, Weinstein was convicted on an additional 3 counts of rape and sentenced to 16 more years in prison on February 23, 2023.
